In the Spring of 2004, a DePaul University Senior Public Policy Capstone course on bioinvasions set out to create a comprehensive website exploring the issues concerning invasive species. We sought to provide a useful tool for the policy community, researchers, natural resource/conservation advocates, educators and students to examine the nature of invasive species, their ecological, biological and social impacts, and policy development associated with the issues.
