On the occasion of  the retirement of Tom Murphy from DePaul in June 2004,  the Environmental Science Program, under the guidance of Maggie Workman, prepared a quilt of the Periodic Table of the Elements to keep him warm while enjoying his leisure.  Photos of the quilt are below.  The quilt is shown in its entirety, and then each section is shown below in more detail.
